Finding out about Amanda Palmer

I first found out about Amanda Palmer through Maria Popova and her Brain Pickings.

I was moved by Amanda’s reading of Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s 1914 Protest Poem about the necessity not to abide by in silence when many are wronged.

“To sin by silence when we should protest, makes cowards out of men.”

Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s Protest Poem says it all, beautifully.
